Depression
Our practitioners use a mix of therapies to help kids and teens who seem sad or low. First, we like to spend time understanding what's going on and what might be making them feel this way:

Our team uses games and activities to help them think in a more positive and helpful way (that's the CBT part!). We also teach them to accept their feelings without feeling bad about them (that's the ACT part!). It's like saying, "It's okay to feel sad sometimes, but we can still do things that make us happy."

Our team teaches kids calming exercises and fun techniques to stay focused on the present moment (that's mindfulness!). This helps them feel more in control and less worried.
Together with the kids, our team figures out what's really important to them (like spending time with friends or doing things they love). Then, they set small goals to help them get there step by step.
Lastly, our practitioners remind kids that talking to friends, family, or joining a supportive group can really help. This way, they don't feel alone, and they can share what's on their mind.
By using all these approaches, our team helps kids and teens to feel better and learn how to handle tough times.
Regular Progress Evaluation:
Our practitioners regularly assess the individual's progress and adjusts the therapeutic approach accordingly. This ongoing assessment ensures that the strategies implemented are effective and relevant to the child or adolescent's evolving needs and circumstances.
By combining ACT, CBT, and mindfulness techniques in a tailored and holistic manner, we help children and adolescents navigate their depression, develop resilience, and cultivate coping strategies that empower them to lead fulfilling lives despite the challenges they may face.

Our team employs a holistic approach, integrating therapy, family involvement, school collaboration, and, when necessary, medical intervention, to effectively reduce depression in children and adolescents and promote their overall mental well-being.
